Please send your child in with £3 in a named envelope to cover the cost of their lunch. Biometrics will be done in the afternoon; accounts can then be topped up and the cashless system will be in place from then on.

Transitions Next Steps Dates for the Diary – September 2022

 

We are looking forward to working with the Year 6 pupils who are going to join us in September. You should have already heard from the local authority through which you applied, who will have detailed any action you need to take with them.
Letters to parents were sent out in March welcoming you all to our school community, and an email will go out at the end of April to all new parents so they can access this transition part of our website. Within this email are the links to the on-line forms that are needed to be completed in full before the end of May.
If you believe your child has a place at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School for September 2022 and you have not yet received an email inviting you to complete your details, please contact the transitions team on transitions@epchs.co.uk
We are hopeful that we will be able to run our usual transition events including:
  • Building Bridges Day (Saturday 23rd April)
  • Transition Days (Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th July)
  • New Parents’ Information Evening (Wednesday 6th July)
  • Summer school (8th – 12th August)
If your child has any concerns about starting school in September, this short video may help.  In the meantime, Mrs V Marsland (our transition lead) and Mrs S Wright (Year 7 Pastoral Leader), have contacted all primary schools to collect student information and assist with the smooth transition from primary into secondary education for your child.
