Congratulations on your place at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School

** Year 7 students will be starting with us on Thursday 3rd September**
Please send your child in with £3 in a named envelope to cover the cost of their lunch. Biometrics will be done in the afternoon; accounts can then be topped up and the cashless system will be in place from then on.

We are looking forward to working with the Year 6 pupils who are going to join us in September. You should have already heard from the local authority through which you applied, who will have detailed any action you need to take with them.

Letters to parents were sent out in March welcoming you all to our school community, and an email will have gone out at the beginning of May to all new parents so they can access this transition part of our website. Within this email are the links to the on-line forms that are needed to be completed in full before the end of June.

If you believe your child has a place at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School for September 2020 and you have not yet received an email inviting you to complete your details, please contact the transitions team on

Due to the Coronavirus, we are unable to go ahead with the planned transition events including: Building Bridges Day, New Parents’ Information Evening, Transition Days and extra transition events. More details will follow in time. If your child has any concerns about staring school in September, this short video may help.

In the meantime, Miss J Wildman, our transition lead, has contacted all primary schools to collect student information and assist with the smooth transition from primary into secondary education for your child.
