For occasional admissions to years 7 – 11 Governors will admit up to a maximum of 180 students in any single year group. Where numbers in a year group are below that figure students will be admitted on the basis of the criteria listed in the above document.
In-year admissions will be made by request directly to the school. If a place is not available, at the request of their parents/carers, we will add the name(s) of child/children to waiting lists held for each year group. Places that do become available will be offered to children on the appropriate waiting list as they conform to the general criteria for admission.
We will tell parents/carers on request of the position of their child on any waiting lists we keep.
Application Process
Admission for a place in Year 7 for September 2019 is made through the local authority. Key dates around the allocation of Year 7 places are included on the LA’s website – www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
Appeals
If we cannot offer you a place you have the right to Appeal, which will be determined by an Independent Appeal Panel.  The Appeal Form can be downloaded here.
