Literature Text 1: An Inspector Calls/Blood Brothers

  • Detailed study of context and Act 1, focussed on characters, relationships between characters, main themes, structure and dramatic methods.

Complete one short essay on Act 1

  • Detailed study of Acts 2 & 3, focussed on characters, relationships between characters, themes, structure and dramatic methods.

One full exam style essay on whole text and one creative writing piece.

  • First 5 poems from AQA anthology: context, character /voice, themes and poetic methods for each poem.
  • Poetry comparison for Lit P2 Section B

Pupils to complete at least one full exam style comparative essay.
